Tools: Cell Annotation Pipeline (CAP) and Frontend Programs

CellCards developes and/or utilizes many tools used for different purposes.

CAP Tools being developed by CellCards:

• CellCards Search: The search function is available at the main page of the program.
• CellCards ETL: The CellCards data ETL (extract, transform, and load) tool is developed to extract data from different sources, transform the data into a resource like a relational database, and load the data into the systems that end-users can access and use.

Existing tools being used for CellCards knowledgebase generation and development:

• Ontobee: https://ontobee.org. This is an ontology tool developed by Dr. Oliver He's group at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
• SAMap: https://github.com/atarashansky/SAMap. This is a cell type evolution-related tool developed by Dr. Bo Wang's group at Stanford University.
